Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were brutally savaged by a PR expert who said they wouldn't advise any of their clients to work for them as they are "damaged goods". The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have hopped in the spotlight again this week after new reports claimed their lucrative Netflix deal will not get renewed in September.
Harry and Meghan's projects for the streaming giant, apart from their first bombshell docuseries, have failed to gain interest since they struck the deal in 2020, and their popularity has been gradually plummeting ever since. The Sussex couple have received negative press, with critics slamming their various endeavours over the years following a series of attacks against the Royal Family.
Now, in light of the latest updates regarding their Netflix flop, a PR expert blasted them, saying that "everything they touch turns to dust".
Renae Smith, founder of The Atticism, told the Express: "I wouldn't advise a single client of mine to get involved with them. No way in hell."
"Could they produce something on their own? Sure, they have the money. But will any major platform touch them now? I highly doubt it.
"They're starting to feel like damaged goods. It's the opposite of the Midas touch!
"Everything they touch right now turns to dust haha. I wouldn't advise a single client of mine to get involved with them. No way in hell."
Harry and Meghan released five projects on Netflix in the span of five years.
Their latest ones were With Love, Meghan, a cookery show starring the Duchess, which was released this year, and Polo, a documentary about Harry's passion for the sport, released last year.
It followed the couple's Heart Of Invictus series, released in 2023, which came after Live to Lead and the Sussexes' bombshell docuseries, Harry & Meghan, in 2022.
