Donald Trump has appeared to take a swipe at Meghan Markle during an appearance at a press conference in the UK. The US President, who is known for his dislike of Meghan, lavished praise on the Royal Family, including King Charles.
Appearing in the UK, President Trump then took a swipe at "not great people" outside of the UK - which royal fans have taken as a dig towards the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The couple stepped down from royal duties in 2020, with the pair now living in the US with their two children.
During the press conference, President Trump said: "Being with Charles, Camilla and everybody, I've got to know because of four years [as President] and now six months.
"I've got to know a lot of the family members. They are great people. They are really great people."
In an apparent swipe towards the Sussexes, Trump added: "And in that sense I think the UK is very lucky. You could have people that weren't great people.
"I don't know if I can say that, but you could have people that weren't."
Noting Trump's comment, one royal fan took to social media, writing: "I love the shade President Trump throws at Prince Harry & Meghan Markle."

Another fan said that they were sure the US President was "calling them out".
In response to Trump's previous comment calling Meghan "terrible", Harry previously used his open speech at the Invictus Games in Canada to complain about the "weak moral character in the world".
Trump's comment about Meghan came after he was asked about Harry's deportation amid the Duke of Sussex's historical drug use.
