A shocking incident has come to light in the country's capital, Delhi. A man has been arrested in Bijwasan area of South-West Delhi on charges of raping a neighbour's one and a half year old girl. Police gave this information. According to the police, a PCR call was received at Kapashera police station in this regard.
A police team reached the spot where the victim's mother, who was staying in a rented house, said that at around 9 am, her neighbour and co-tenant, Sudhir alias Bittu (32), took her daughter to his room.
Was drunkaccusedIn this case, a senior police officer said that after some time, the sound of the girl crying started coming from the room, while the door was locked from inside. He said that when the door was opened, the girl was found naked and soaked in blood. After this, it is being told that the accused, a resident of Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh, was allegedly in a state of intoxication at the time of the incident.
After this, the local people caught him and handed him over to the police. After this incident, the local people are angry and have demanded strict action. According to the information, the police said that the girl was taken to the hospital along with her mother for medical examination. The police team collected evidence from the spot.
Case registered under POCSOPolice said that a case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of rape and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Meanwhile, the accused is currently in custody and investigation is underway.
