Sabrina Carpenter has opened up on her confusion when it comes to men - and how she feels a need to train them. It comes after a number of highly publicised relationships, including her time with actorBarry Keoghan.
Singer Sabrina, 26, was dating the Irish star, 32, from December 2023 until late 2024. For some, they think their split has come across in her new music titled Man's Best Friend.
But for Sabrina, she has admitted she feels she "has to train" men when it comes to a relationship. Her latest claim comes after a gloves-are-off swipe towards Barry following their split.

Her training comment comes as she calls the necessity "a tale as old as time". "I do think that men have been a super entertaining species to watch," she said.
Speaking to Vogue Italia, she explained the comment was mean in both a positive and negative way. She continued: "I feel really adored and inspired and loved by some of them… and really confused and attacked and ridiculed by others."
And she labelled it "part of life" to joke about moments that could be seen as uncomfortable. "My whole life I felt like humor was just this, and it wasn't even always humour, I think it was usually just sort of a wit that kind of saved me," she went on.
"It was always there to make sure that at the end of the day I was protecting myself for the future.'
The comments came during a photoshoot with the publication. In one image, Sabrina is seen wearing racy lingerie. The snap sees her posing crossed legged as she seductively gazes at the camera.
And the chat was a month after her new album launch seemingly "revealed" truth behind her split from the Saltburn star. While she doesn't name Barry, who is thought to be her most recent ex-partner, fans were quick to suspect he inspired some lyrics on the album following their break-up last year.
The closing track on the album titled Goodbye hears the star sing about the apparent end of a relationship. The opening verse hears her sing: "Broke my heart on Saturday.
"Guess overnight your feelings changed. And I have cried so much I almost fainted." Just like the chorus, it hints that it was her partner - presumed to be Barry - who left, perhaps not for the final time.
Sabrina then sings in the chorus: "Goodbye means that you're losing me for life. Can't call it love, then call it quits [...] Did you forget that it was you who said goodbye?"
Fans also wondered if Sabrina's song Never Getting Laid, which includes lyrics about a partner with a wandering eye, could be about that Irish star as well. However, there is no suggestion of infidelity. He's thought to be referenced in other tracks like Go Go Juice, in which she playfully references exes.
