Lorraine contributor Nicola Thorp has slammed Prime Minister Keir Starmer after he stayed in Scotland with Donald Trump instead of meeting the Lionesses' after their historic football win on Sunday.
Speaking to Christine Lampard and ITN entertainment correspondent Rishi Davda, Nicola took aim at the prime minister for failing to fly back to the UK to meet the victorious England team. Rishi said: "Sir Keir Starmer wasn't there as he's in Scotland with Donald Trump but he did FaceTime the Lionesses to congratulate them as you can see. He just looks utterly-"

However, he was interrupted by Nicola, who said: "Awful. Sorry - this is a big slap in the face to the women. What does it say to women?

"That our prime minister is going to go up to Scotland to meet Donald Trump, considering what Donald Trump thinks about women, rather than come and meet the Lionesses. I think it's actually appalling. It's not that difficult to fly from London to Scotland and back."
