Metaforms Bags $9 Mn From Peak XV, Others To Automate Research Process For Agencies

B2B AI market research startup Metaforms has raised $9 Mn (around INR 78.8 Cr) in its Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners and Together Fund.

The startup is planning to deploy the fresh proceeds for talent acquisition with a focus on expanding its Bengaluru-based engineering and AI-research team. Additionally, the capital will be used to strengthen its product portfolio.

Founded in 2023 by Akshat Tyagi and Arjun S, Metaforms integrates AI to help market research agencies with automation of their daily tasks. Its AI agents automate survey programming, data processing, and vendor coordination, allowing the agencies to manage client demands efficiently.

Notably, Metaforms started its commercial operations six months ago. It claims to have onboarded Dynata, Savanta and STRAT7 as notable clients.

The funding comes at a time when the integration of AI into enterprise technology solutions is rapidly expanding. Startups are offering AI-based solutions to streamline operations for larger companies, while enterprises are increasingly adopting AI to improve efficiency and decision-making

From research to marketing, many agentic AI startups are building enterprise tech solutions for businesses. These startups are also getting lots of traction from the investors.

For instance, Celebal Technologies recently raised $15 Mnin its Series B funding round from InCred Growth Partners Fund-I and Norwest Capital, LLC to provide B2B AI and data software solutions.

Similarly, enterprise tech startup Uniqus Consultech raised $20 Mn to offer AI-based consulting services.

Earlier this year, enterprise AI startup Atomicwork raised $25 Mn to launch agentic AI solutions to enhance employee experience.

As per Inc42’sIndian Tech Startup Funding Report H1 2025, enterprise tech startups bagged more than $484 Mn funding in the first half of 2025, across nearly 50 deals. This made the enterprise tech segment the third most funded sector in the period under review, with the ecommerce and fintech sectors acquiring first and second positions, respectively.
