Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan's Telugu film Hari Hara Veera Mallu hit the big screens on Thursday (July 24) and it has received mixed reviews from critics and the audience. In the film, the actor plays the role of an outlaw who is assigned the job of stealing Kohinoor diamond from the Mughals.
A few days back, it was reported that Pawan Kalyan has reduced his fees for the film. While he had charged Rs 50 crore for his previous film Bro, the actor asked for only Rs 20 crore for Hari Hara Veera Mallu, reports stated.
Pawan Kalyan opens up about his remuneration
However, in one of his latest interviews, he reacted to the reports and revealed that he will consider his payment only after the film becomes a hit.

He reportedly said, "My remuneration for this…(laughs). I don’t know, I’ll consider it if it may become a hit tomorrow. My idea is that the film should be released first and do well to safeguard the producer."
Pawan Kalyan also said that producers have suffered losses in the past because of him. "I usually don’t promote my films, and I feel producers have suffered because of me. First, there was COVID-19, a natural disaster and a man-made disaster due to politics. I now feel some sort of responsibility towards promoting films that have been delayed," he stated.

The film has been directed by Jyothi Krisna, son of Rathnam, after Krish exited the project. It also stars Nidhhi Agerwal as a dancer named Panchami, and Bobby Deol as Aurangzeb.
