Archana Puran Singh, who was on a trip to her hometown, Dehradun, has been sharing vlogs from her vacation with her fans. Recently, the family (which also included her would-be-daughter-in-law, Yogita Bihani) went to Mussorie, where they had a blast trying various delicious street foods, such as momos, and also visited some popular restaurants.
At the beginning of the vlog, the family was seen driving off from Dehradun to Mussorie. Singh’s husband, Parmeet Sethi talked about his love for mountainous regions and joked he had only married Archana so that he could go on “free trips here.”
After settling into their hotel, the whole family gathered to relish a traditional British-style high tea. In the hotel’s lobby, Ayushmaan displayed his musical flair by sitting at the piano and playing a few melodies. Later in the evening, the group ventured out for dinner, first stopping at a roadside stall to enjoy plates of steaming momos. From there, they made their way to The Royal Afghan for a more lavish meal. The restaurant mirrors the menu of Delhi’s renowned Bukhara, celebrated for its signature Dal Bukhara. Together, they indulged in specialties like dal bukhara, paneer tikka, paneer khurcha, and tandoori phool, savoring the rich flavors.
Afterward, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress led her family to a modest local shop where she introduced them to treats she often enjoyed in her younger days—fruit cream and apple pie. Reflecting on those times, she shared that visits like these were rare luxuries during her childhood.
They could only afford to go on days when pocket money was given, and by the very next day, funds would already be exhausted. Now, she added with a smile, life has changed, and with her earnings, she can finally visit more often. Amused, the shop owner chimed in with his own memory, recalling that Archana once maintained a running account at his shop, before bursting into laughter.
While relishing dessert (which included chocolate cake and upside-down apple pudding) at another restaurant, Parmeet remarked that Archana used to call him pudding once upon a time, but those days were long gone.
