BSNL has announced recruitment for 120 Senior Executive Trainee positions, for which even freshers without any experience can apply.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a telecom company of the Government of India, has announced a new recruitment drive. The most important feature of this recruitment drive is that no experience is required. Freshers can also apply directly, as long as they meet the educational qualifications.
This recruitment drive is for BSNL's Senior Executive Trainee (DR) positions. It covers two streams: telecom and finance. A total of 120 positions will be filled, with 95 positions in the telecom stream and 25 in the finance stream. BSNL released its notification on October 27th. Now, candidates just need to wait for the application process to begin on the official website, bsnl.co.in.
Now, let's talk about the eligibility criteria for this job. Candidates applying in the telecom stream must have a BE or B.Tech degree from a recognized university with at least 60 percent marks. This degree should be in Electronics and Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
The educational qualification for the finance stream is slightly different. CA or CMA candidates can apply for this position. This position is considered a particularly good opportunity for candidates with a finance background.
Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age. However, age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per government regulations.
Salary wise, a Senior Executive Trainee at BSNL initially earns a basic pay of ₹24,900 to ₹50,500. Additionally, due to this government job, DA, HRA, and other allowances will also be provided. This means the salary package becomes quite strong. Furthermore, career growth after selection for this position is also considered good. Over time, promotions, increased responsibilities, and perks increase.
The selection process will involve a computer-based written examination. The exam will be multiple-choice, or objective-type, questions. Candidates who pass the exam will be called for further processing. Therefore, this is the right time for those preparing to begin planning their strategy.
